Welcome to Cold War Jets. We've recently picked up this site and we're in the process of making some updates to the look and feel. Whilst we're working on this why not have a look around at the information we've added to the site. In particular, we've addded some new content around our favourite jet aircraft from the cold war era. Enjoy and see you soon.

Full open days: Several stalls will be present selling videos, posters, prints, model kits, books and magazines, etc. Refreshments including hot and cold drinks and hot food will be available. Come and talk to the Vulcan 558 Club and Lightning Preservation Group members and get involved! There will also be aircraft parts and avionics for sale.

Sundays: Refreshments are not normally available but toilet facilities including disabled access are still available. Wheelchair access to the airfield is no problem; aircraft dislike steps just as much as wheelchair users! A small charge is made for admission to the airfield but car parking is free.

Pets and very young children may be frightened by aircraft noise so please bear this in mind if you intend bringing any. It is always a good idea to use ear defenders for all.

Please see the ops board for reviews of previos open days!
